申请人需要解释清楚自己在美国期间所要学习的专业和学习计划。学习计划尽量列得详细，学校、院系、课程名称等信息（若有）也要尽量提供完整，这样的信息才有说服力。作为附加信息，申请人可以一并提供自己的教育背景和工作经历。
2）导师或有意向的导师
申请人需要提供导师的姓名、电子邮箱地址、简介和研究领域的说明，这些信息一般会发布在导师工作单位的网站上，很容易就可以找到。
3）学习模式
